Rather slow for this distance, but:
- I was wearing too much, - I did not sleep enough - I had eaten too much in the morning - And I got really not just follow the path.
Plutot lent pour cette distance, mais :
- je portais trop de vêtements, - Je n'avais pas dormi assez - J'avais trop mangé le matin - Et je n'ai pas vraiment juste suivi le trajet.

I found that sign by chance while climbing up near Madingley Road:
some naughty kids changed "pool" into "I ate poo" (volume : 64 000 liters)
J'ai trouvé ce signe par chance en montant vers Madingley Road:

I should have really been back by then but some road works had closed the path between the lakes. Some people living there kindly suggested the shortest way (behind Sainsburys)
J'aurais vraiment du être de retour d'ici là mais alors des travaux de voirie avait fermé le chemin entre les lacs. Des gens habitants là m'ont sympathiquement conseillé le plus court chemin (derrière le supermarché)
Take note of the sign: BEWARE OF FROGS ;-)
Notez-bien le panneau: ATTENTION AUX GRENOUILLES (= les frenchies)
